Day 5

Coriander and green chilli cakes

1 cup of gram flour
1 chopped green chilli
Handful of chopped coriander
1 grated carrot
1 sliced onion

Mix all these ingredients together and season well

Gently pour in some water a little at a time until you get a firm, thick batter xx
. Place a spoonful of the batter in a heated and lightly oiled fry pan and press flat.

Cook on both sides until golden and cooked xx
This will make 4/6 depending on size xx

Serve with the tofu mayo from yesterday’s recipe.. The coriander or garlic and parsley would compliment these deliciously xx

These would make a lovely alternative to falafel in a wrap, or as a sosage replacement in a fry or sandwich xxxx
They would also accompany a curry or chili instead or as well as bread xxx
