DELIVERY/COLLECTION AND COOKING INSTRUCTIONS 2025

Thank you so much for placing your order with Truffleupagus Vegan Yums this year .

Here are a few important updates for you . There will be no other reminders after this ,so please do save this message .

Collection times

15th December 11 to 2pm or 5 to 7 pm

from 43 Portallo Street Belfast BT6 9Be

19th December from Portview trade centre /Newtownards Road between 5 and 9pm

20th from Portview 12 to 4pm

23rd December from Portallo Street address (above) between 10am and 3 pm only

24th December between 10am and 2 pm only

Delivery on the 23/24th will be between 10 am and 6 pm , we cannot give out an exact time , but I will have a rough estimate of locality closer to the time , if so needed. If on the off chance you need to go out for the day PLEASE leave a secure watertight box for us to place the food into. The driver cannot leave the food behind without this, and we will NOT be able to redeliver. If there are any codes, or unusual driving instructions to your home please let me know as soon as possible , so we can factor that into the route

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

Thank you so much for choosing Truffleupagus vegan yums hamper for your Christmas day . Happy Christmas and a wonderful new year to you all.

Please note , all frozen items must be placed into the freezer as soon as possible and all fresh items into the fridge.

All frozen items MUST be defrosted for best quality before cooking and the times are as follows

Lasagne/Mousakka/Shepherds pie. Remove lid and cook at 200/400/6 for 20 to 25 mins

All quiche 200/400/6 for 18 to 20 mins

Pies 200/400/6 for 20 mins

Sosage rolls 200/400/6 for 5 or 6 minutes

Starters

Faux gras, store in fridge and eat cold with crackers

Camembert 200/400/6 for 5 minutes until melty, or cold with crackers

Mains

Sage and onion pie. 200/400/6 for 15 minutes for 1 to 2 portion size

20/25 minutes for larger sizes. Cover with a little silver foil so it doesn’t burn at the edges

Seitan pie. Reheat at 200/400/6 for 20 mins (cover with foil so it doesn’t burn , and remove foil for the last 5 minutes to crisp the pastry

Salmon …cover with foil and reheat at 200/400/ 6 for 15 minutes , and then a further 5 minutes foil removed

Nut roast (both ) Place into hot oven 200/400/6 lid removed for 15/18 minutes. Top with cranberry sauce and heat through a further 5 or so minutes, or serve the chutney cold.

Celeriac pie 200/400/6 for 20 mins

Vegetables

Place in a hot oven 200/400/6 , lid on for 12 mins and then for a further 5 to 8 minutes to crisp the potato, depending on portion size. Top with flavoured butter to melt and stir well.

gravy/sauces etc. place into a saucepan and heat through gently. Some of the sauces may have thickened, add a little splash of water to thin if desired

All fresh food MUST be eaten by the 26th December for best quality

Desserts

All desserts must be stored in the fridge and used by the 27th of December for the best quality

The cheesecake must be used by the 26th

Please note the desserts are not recommended for freezing

Cheese

Place into an AIRTIGHT container and into the fridge. The cheese has a shelf life to the 27th of December maximum.

All food has a short shelf life as it is freshly made with out the addtion of any preservatives , so that you get quality home made food.
