My name is Sheena , and I run Truffleupagus Vegan Yums, Northern Irelands longest running fully vegan catering business. I am also a fully qualified fitness instructor, menopause coach, and hold many qualifications in holistic massage therapies and aromatherapy
My main focus and interest is in womens health, and in particular, how we remain healthy as we age and the impact of hormones and diet on our mind and body. Its fascinating .
Plants can bring us the wellness we deserve and a whole food plant based diet is one such way we can ensure maximum health for our gut, joints, muscles and mind. I will be sharing with you , not only my journey with plants and the vegan diet, but how you too can incorporate wholefoods into your day in a delicious and nourishing way .

Our day together will be beautiful with the entire vibration being one of calm and peace.
On arrival at 930 am you will be given a warming tea of choice, and a nutrition snack of dates and nuts , as we meet and greet and connect. There will be a relaxing and warm atmosphere , and the promise of no pressure to do anything other than just be present. No name games, no standing up to talk in front of a room of strangers.
You will then be invited to join into the first workshop of the day which is a 30 minute deep meditation I call the Collective sigh, wereby we breathe deeply into relaxation, calm and let go of any pressures and stresses from the day, and life. This is your time to deeply let go, allowing yourself to be fully present at the retreat and bring calm and peace to your mind and body.
We will take some time to hydrate and gather and get ready for our first workshop of the day
1030 to 11 .45pm
The power of plants on our body and mind
This topic will cover fibre, proteins and minerals and their collective nutrient healing that they bring to us . We will cover nutrients found in plants that benefit our skin, our gut, and our overall health, including heart health and prevention of certain conditions.
No power point energy , just connection, chat, open to questions
You will be provided with a lovely journal and pen to make your own notes and observations too .
I will also let you know all the wonderful magic nutrients that are in your thoughfully prepared meal (and provide a free recipe sheet, in your gift bag)
12 to 1 pm
Lunch and connection
This is time to enjoy a fully vegan lunch made by the longest running fully vegan caterer in Northern Ireland, Sheena Bleakney of Truffleupagus Vegan Yums.
There will be a salad buffet with
Potato pesto and green bean salad (gf) energy rich, flavour packed
Kale and super- chic pea slaw (gf) nutrient dense, protein power
Mixed bean salad with a romesco dressing (gf) fibre filled and tastes divine
Hummus (gf) yummy fav
Leek and mushroom quiche . A plant powered take on a classic staple
Plenty of water and herbal teas to hydrate

At 1 we will have our second work shop
1 to 2 pm
A collective breathing space to just sit and think. Guided questions will be offered for you , to consider. A journal will be gifted, for you to note your thoughts and feelings on questions regarding , rest, time, stress and being kind to ourselves. There will be no pressure to share, this is simply a safe place for you to sit, and deeply feel . To allow yourself to be present with your thoughts.
Which will lead us prefectly into our yoga workshop with Kelly Connaghan 2 pm to 330pm
Kelly says
‘Yoga is an amazing practice that can be adaped for women at all stages of life. As oestrogen production shifts in dominance from our ovaries to our adrenals, our lifestyle and habits need to change in line with that. We can gain so much more from incorporating some slower, meditative and quieter practices. if this sounds like something that resonates with you , the whole day could be just what you need. The yoga will be centrered around restorative postures, to reduce the stress hormones and promote the happy hormones. bring back some balance to your life.
At 330 to 4 we will have a nice cuppa tea and a delicious sweet treat by Truffleupagus Vegan Yums
From 4 to 445 pm we will finish with some thought provoking, empowering questions to you, the guests , on how to move forward with Plant power and feeling so good in your mind and body as you head home . Guests will all recieve a little gift as a memory of their day . This section will guide us from the peace of the day and how we can bring that forward into our daily lives. Open floor for questions , or gentle observing .
